Mongol Rally Runs in Family

My younger sister’s oldest boy is running the Mongol Rally, a car race from London to Ulan Bataar. Each team uses a small and rather iffy vehicle. They must pack all their gear, including spare tires, in or on the car. Then, they must come up with a witty, if not hilarious, team name. My nephew’s team is the Mongolian Croquet Expeditionary Force. Of course, any event that has the word Mongol in it is automatically pretty funny. A you can see from the photos below, Simon is not the first “Stein” to strike out across deserts.
